All Summer Housing Applications should be submitted online by Monday, March 3, 2014 for priority in the assignment process.  We begin making assignments in mid-March, and weekly thereafter, so you should apply as soon as possible. Applications will be accepted after this date, but your choices will become more limited as we proceed with assignments. Individuals who apply by March 3 will receive confirmation of their room assignment in mid-March.

Transition Housing
(Housing for the period between the end of the Spring Term and the start of the Summer Term)

Only current spring 2014 residents who request, and are confirmed for, a summer housing stay for week 1 (June 1, 2014 – Summer Housing start date) are eligible for Transition Housing.

Current residents switching into a different apartment assignment for the Transition Week and summer will be required to do so as scheduled by the Department of Residence Services (Sunday, May 25 at 2:00 p.m.).  Residents will be charged the Summer 2014 weekly rate that corresponds with the apartment type to which they are assigned.  Please see the summer housing rates to determine the rate charged for Transition Housing.

Note:
Only current spring 2014 residents who are requesting summer housing as of week 1 (June 1, 2014) are eligible for Transition Week housing.
Summer housing applicants must apply for a minimum stay of 4 consecutive weeks.  Transition Week housing accounts for 1 week of the minimum stay of 4 weeks.

Payment
Payment for all summer housing charges must be made in full by Friday, June 7, 2014. Those summer residents who fail to make payment by June 7, 2014 will be unable to participate in  the course selection lottery and will be charged a $100 late payment fee. Residents who face financial hardship should contact the Office of Student Financial Services to arrange a housing payment plan.  Residents with an approved housing payment plan will not be assessed the $100 late payment fee.
