The OCS has scheduled a corporate visit to the SEAMLESS offices on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 4:30-5:30 p.m. This is a unique opportunity to take a “field trip” to SEAMLESS and get an insider’s view of the legal operations and inner workings of the company. Our host is Maggie Drucker, J.D. ’90, the General Counsel & Secretary. Ms. Drucker advises management on a wide range of matters including commercial transactions, corporate governance, business development, marketing, privacy, social media and employment and leads the company’s litigation and IP protection efforts. Prior to Seamless, Ms. Drucker worked at Martha Stewart Living where she handled merchandising licensing program including negotiation and drafting of all agreements; among many other things. She also served as Of Counsel at the New York Times for more than 7 years, and worked as a VP and Senior Counsel at Simon & Schuster for just over five years. Ms. Drucker is a dynamic and engaging speaker, and will share her insights on the legal world as it relates to her experiences.
We are limited to 15 students only. It was advertised first to several student groups, so there may be a waitlist which remains active until the date of the event.
