On Friday, March 28, the Judicial Clerkship Office (“JCO”) will host a terrific panel about serving as a judicial law clerk. The panelists are four Federal Judges who are all NYU graduates:
- Judge Dennis Jacobs (NYU J.D. ’73) of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit;
- Judge Raymond Lohier (NYU J.D. ’91) of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit;
- Judge Nancy Atlas (NYU J.D. ’74) of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas;
- Judge Berle Schiller (NYU J.D. ’68) of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania
- MODERATOR: Professor Stephen Gillers (NYU J.D. ’68), NYU School of Law
Students interested in clerking should not miss this opportunity to speak with these prominent federal judges about the clerkship experience, ways in which you can make yourself the most attractive candidate for a clerkship, and how to best navigate the application process.
This is a brown-bag lunch event, so please feel free to bring your lunch with you.
