Sign up for the tenth CHILLS session, Friday, April 18 from 4pm to 6pm in Furman Hall, Room 430, for public interest career and academic advice, a morale boost, camaraderie, and fun.
Lauren Burke, an energetic and inspiring NYU Law ’09 alumna, Founder of Atlas: DIY, Developing Immigrant Youth, and PILC Practitioner-in-Residence, will be hosting CHILLS every Friday. Each week CHILLS will offer wine and cheese and a chance to chat with Lauren and a rotating group of NYU Law graduates who are now public interest practitioners.
To join the CHILLS event on Friday, please RSVP through CSM/Symplicity (search “Mindy Friedman” for this week on the Events tab).
This week, Lauren is joined by Mindy Friedman ’10. In partnership with community-based organizations, providers, and disability rights groups, Ms. Friedman works to increase access to medical care for people with disabilities, including access to hospitals, clinics, and private doctors. Mindy is a former Equal Justice Works Fellow and received her J.D. from New York University School of Law.
