On Wednesday, April 30th, the Office of Records & Registration is sponsoring a meeting to provide you with some insight into the process of being admitted to the practice of law in New York State (other jurisdictions may be discussed, but the focus will be on NY.) Once applicants pass the bar, the next and sometimes challenging step is completing the Character and Fitness process. The discussion will cover Character Fitness and Professional Responsibility and common problems encountered by law students. Whether you have a complicated situation or just have general questions concerning the disclosure of certain information, this discussion will be a great resource.
