On Monday, August 18, 2014, registration for the Columbia Law School/NYU School of Law Exchange Program begins. Important information about the program, the link to the online request form, and the list of Columbia classes for which NYU students may apply to register will be posted by August 18 on our Columbia Law School/NYU School of Law Exchange web page.
Deadline to Apply:
The preliminary deadline for applying is August 20, 2014 at 1:00 pm. Students will be selected randomly, with J.D. 3L and full-time LL.M. students having priority. Applications from 2Ls will be considered pending room in the program. Please note: When selecting which course(s) to apply for, please take into account travel time between NYU and CLS.

Notification of Approval:
Columbia will notify NYU students of their approval to register by 3:00 pm on August 22, 2014. Further instructions will also be given at that time.
If you drop a Columbia Course:
Please note that Columbia classes begin September 2 and the NYU School of Law add period ends September 3 at 9:30 am. If you decide to drop your Columbia class after September 3 at 9:30 am, it will be too late to add an NYU School of Law course. Therefore, you must be enrolled in and attending sufficient credits to remain a full-time student (12 credit hours) should you decide to drop the Columbia course.
