Fall OCI is a six week on-campus recruiting program during which employers conduct screening interviews with NYU Law students on campus. Students rank-order their employment preferences and interviews are selected and scheduled through CSM (https://law-nyu-csm.symplicity.com/students/).
Bidding for interviews occurs on a week-by-week basis, so we ask that you monitor the system closely to determine if you would like to bid each week. You can request interviews with employers beginning the Friday three weeks prior to their scheduled interview date. Bidding will close the following Monday, two weeks prior to the employer’s scheduled interview date. Week 1 bidding will open on Friday, August 29.
We recommend that all students who are uncertain of their summer or permanent employment plans register to interview with those employers of interest. In this economy, it is best to cast a wide net and meet with as many employers as possible!
Generally, mid-sized and smaller firms, government and public sector employers nationwide join us for OCI. Many of these employers are from smaller legal markets throughout the U.S. and prefer to join us for this program rather than at EIW. To date, we have approximately 40 employers registered to join us.
