The Center on Law and Security and Public Interest Law Center will be hosting a panel discussion about careers in national security law and executive branch lawyering, aimed at helping students understand the landscape and the different options available.
Panelists will include:
- Michael Farbiarz: Senior Fellow at the Center on Law and Security; former Assistant United States Attorney and Co-Chief of the Terrorism and International Narcotics Unit at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York;
- Zachary Goldman: Executive Director of the Center on Law and Security; former Special Assistant to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Policy Advisor in the Treasury Department’s Office of Terrorism and Financial Intelligence;
- Richard Morgan: Senior Fellow at the Center on Law and Security; intelligence community attorney and United States Navy Reserve intelligence officer;
- Peter Sudler: President and CEO of Sudler Real Estate, former Assistant United States Attorney;
- Deirdre von Dornum: Assistant Dean for Public Service at the Public Interest Law Center, former Deputy Attorney-in-Chief, Federal Defenders of New York, Eastern District of New York;
- Andrew Weissmann: Senior Fellow at the Center on Law and Security; former General Counsel of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Assistant United States Attorney, Chief of the Criminal Division of the EDNY, and Director of the Enron Task Force.
