  6. Professor Gillers – CSM ID 434584. Nature of Research: Reading page proofs from the 10th edition of my professional responsibility casebook. This requires close attention to text and detail: Citations have to be checked, cases keycited, clarity ensured, typos and grammar corrected, cases edited without gaps, etc. The number of pages to be read will depend on the number of students who sign on.
  7. Professor Hershkoff – CSM ID 434783. Nature of Research: Rights of low-income persons under federal programs and the federal Constitution.
  8. Professors Kingsbury and Stewart – CSM ID 434727. Professors Kingsbury and Stewart require several research assistants to assist on two books relating to law and global governance, dealing with Global Administrative Law and Global Hybrid and Private Regulatory Governance, respectively. Academic background in international law and institutions or regulation is highly desirable. (Professor Kingsbury also seeks RAs interested in work on the IILJ’s project on Data, Measurement, and the governance of Illicit Activities.)  Research will focus on specific global regulatory regimes and problems and on literature on relevant legal and institutional topics.
  9. Professor Roman – CSM ID 434548. Nature of Research: Primarily case law research for a paper on the doctrine of de facto parenthood as it relates to foster parents; RA will also be required to do some research in social science journals as well.

  11. Professor Skinner-Thompson – CSM ID 434769. I am working on an article on the LGBT rights movement and need assistance researching and analyzing the multiple marriage equality lawsuits that have been filed.  The assistant will help to analyze whether the dozens of pending marriage equality lawsuits have painted an inaccurate picture of the nation’s LGBTQ community, thereby cementing traditional “family” values as opposed to challenging such values.
