Join the International Arbitration Association (IAA) for a conversation with the Managing Partner for Asia at Dechert LLP and international arbitration practitioner, Jingzhou Tao.
Mr. Tao has extensive experience in international arbitration and is responsible for developing the Asia practice at Dechert LLP. In 2014, Chambers Global and Chambers Asia-Pacific named him one of the “Most In Demand Arbitrators” in the Asia-Pacific region. Chambers has also previously recognized Mr. Tao as “someone you’d have in your top ten for China work”, who “really bridges the divide between Western and Eastern views” and “very well regarded for his activity in the international arbitration arena especially in relation to disputes involving PRC entities.”
Additionally, Mr. Tao is the Chair Commission on International Commercial Arbitration of ICC China, as well as a member of the ICC Arbitration Commission, the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and the International Advisory Board of the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC).
Mr. Tao will discuss the differences between Chinese and international arbitration practices.
This event is sponsored by Dechert LLP.
Refreshments will be served.
