The Ford Foundation is seeking NYU Law 1Ls to volunteer for its Striving for Justice Symposium, which will take place Saturday, November 15th, from 7:45 AM to 3:00 PM. This Symposium is held for students/alums from the law schools of NYU, Harvard, Yale, and Stanford, who are recipients of the Ford Foundation public interest summer and post-graduate fellowships and will include various public interest panels and speakers. (NYU 1Ls and 2Ls are eligible to apply for the summer fellowship in February.) Volunteer duties include registration and ushering; during down times, volunteers will be able to attend some of the sessions. Lunch and breakfast will be provided. Volunteers are expected to stay for the entire symposium (7:45 AM to 3:00 PM). If you are interested in volunteering or have any questions, please contact Sarah Hudson-Plush, PILC counselor, at sarah.hudsonplush@nyu.edu. If you would like to volunteer, please respond by Friday, November 7.
