The Hauser Global Law School Program is currently accepting applications for Research Assistants for our spring Global Faculty. The position allows up to 20 hours per week at $12 per hour. Projects will include assisting professors with course materials as well as their own research.
Below you will find a list of faculty with their home institutions, plus any skills or experience required by the faculty member. Research Assistants will be appointed for the spring semester and may only assist one professor. The professors will be located at NYU School of Law during the spring 2015 semester.

Courses: Comparative Tax Policy Seminar, Tax Treaties
Research: Business Taxation, Fundamental and Constitutional Principles of Taxation, Individual Income Tax, Influences of European Law on Tax Law and Principles
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with tax law, proficient in computer skills for office work (word processing, powerpoint, etc.), German language skills helpful but not essential. Familiarity with NYU Classes and prior experience as a research assistant at NYU Law is a plus. Will work approximately 11 hours per week.

Courses: International Intellectual Property Law, Trademark Law on the Internet Seminar
Research/Preferred Experience: Research assistant will work on several projects. Most involve trademark law, both US and international; one involves the secondary liability of online intermediaries more generally. Work will include discrete research assignments in US and foreign law as well as assistance in responding to editorial queries and review of proofs of publications-in-progress. Applicants should preferably have taken or be taking a class on trademark law, though this is not an absolute prerequisite.
