NYU BALSA Black History Month Gala

Kimmel Center for University Life, Rosenthal Pavilion
The gala will begin at 7:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception followed by a dinner program at 8:00 p.m. This year’s theme is Fifty Years Since the Voting Rights Act: The Current State of Civil Rights in America. During dinner, Debo P. Adegbile ’94, partner at Wilmer Hale and Suzette M. Malveaux ’94, professor of law at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law will be honored for their outstanding contributions in field of law. Additionally, BALSA will continue its tradition of awarding the Scholastic Excellence Scholarship, to students of color aspiring to careers in the legal field.
