The art of schmoozing, otherwise known as chatting with purpose, is still alive and well, and as important as ever for career and business development. In this engaging discussion, our panel of experts will teach you how to develop your schmoozing skills, providing tips on how to effectively and professionally speak to new contacts, colleagues and even potential mentors. We will cover on-line communications and how to convert those contacts into off-line professional relationships, as well as how to maintain those relationships. An informal reception will follow to allow you to try out your new skills.
Panelists: Paula T. Edgar, Principal, PGE LLC, President-Elect, Metropolitan Black Bar Association; Elish M. Cahalan, East Coast Director of Training & Development, Sidley Austin LLP
