The American Constitution Society proudly announces its 11th annual Constance Baker Motley National Student Writing Competition. This annual competition for law students is an opportunity to submit for publication all papers furthering a progressive vision of the Constitution, law, and public policy.
ACS encourages all student members to take advantage of this writing opportunity. Please review the 2016 ACS Writing Competition Guidelines before submitting your entry. The top three student authors will receive special recognition at the 2016 ACS National Convention and cash prizes. The winning author is awarded the opportunity to publish in the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law.
Submissions must be emailed by Friday, February 12th, 2016, at 11:59 pm EST. Papers emailed after this date will not be considered. Papers must be emailed to writing_competition@acslaw.org in Word format and accompanied with the 2016 Submission Form.
