Dr. Nicholas Wolterstorff is an American philosopher and a prolific author on issues ranging from aesthetics, epistomology, political philosophy, philosophy of religion, metaphysics, and philosophy of education.
Wolterstorff was the Noah Porter Professor of Philosophical Theology at Yale University, where he taught for 13 years until retiring in 2002. Previously, he taught at Calvin College, the Free University of Amsterdam, and the University of Notre Dame. He is past President of the American Philosophical Association (Central Division) and serves on its publication and executive committees. He continues to write and give lectures on a broad range of topics.
