We are pleased to announce our 10th annual spring Washington DC trip! You can find the detailed itinerary here. The trip includes transportation to and from Washington DC on a chartered bus; a two-night stay at Hotel Palomar in the trendy Dupont Circle area; a visit to the US Supreme Court (including a chat with NYU Law alums that are law clerks at the Court); a walking tour of the memorials; breakfast; a happy hour; and free time to visit DC’s museums and other sights. Our trip will coincide with the National Cherry Blossom festival.
To sign up for the trip, please bring the following to OGA:
- Payment: $250 per student. Please bring payment in cash (exact change) or personal check made out to New York University School of Law
- Completed Sign Up Form (found here)
- Completed Emergency Form (found here)
- Copy of your passport (only the page with your personal information)
- Copy of your student visa, if applicable
Deadline to sign up for the trip is Monday, February 29.
Please note that spots will not be reserved until payment, completed emergency form, and relevant copies are submitted to OGA.
Notes:
-The DC trip is limited to 50 LLM and Exchange students (if there is greater demand, we may be able to accommodate additional students depending on hotel availability; transportation is limited to the first 50 students who sign up as that is the capacity of the bus)
-Each room accommodates two people; students share a room with another student. If you wish, you may select your roommate at the time you reserve a spot.
-OGA provides few scholarships for this trip. If you are a student with financial hardship but would like to join, please come to OGA to speak with Lourdes or Barbara.
