This summer, a new program, the Equal Justice Works Rural Summer Legal Corps (http://rurallegalcorps.org/), will place 31 1L and 2L law students across the country at legal services organizations in rural locations this summer. There is a short online application due February 29 (http://storage.coremotivesmarketing.com/library/4e62f6b3-6d2f-e211-a0c2-00155d32390f/1273/webforms/4d1ea20c-d597-e511-80e3-3863bb36fd08.htm) in which students rank their preferred placements, and offers are expected to be extended by April 1. The Rural Legal Corps provides a $4000 stipend, which can be used in conjunction with PILC funding (1Ls are capped at 6K and 2Ls are capped at 15K).
