The NY Bar Foundation Commercial Division is offering a special opportunity for diverse 1L students to apply for the NYSBA Commercial & Federal Litigation Section’s Diversity 1L Fellowship for the summer of 2016. The selected student will receive a $6,000 stipend to work in the chambers of a Commercial Division Justice in NY Supreme Court – Manhattan. The purpose of the fellowship, funded by the New York State Bar Association’s Commercial & Federal Litigation Section through a grant to the NY Bar Foundation, is to provide a meaningful professional development opportunity to a promising diverse 1L and to richen and diversify the pipeline of up-and-coming commercial litigators.
