Please join us for a lunch conversation with attorneys Matthew Moffa and David Isaacson about the contentious Second Circuit case, Hizam v. Kerry, the case upon which this year’s National Immigration Law Competition problem is modeled.
Matthew Moffa is Mr. Hizam’s attorney and an associate in the intellectual property group at Ropes and Gray LLP. He advises and protects clients in IP-related matters in a range of technology areas, including telecommunications, computer sciences, life sciences, optics, business methods, and financial transactions.
David Isaacson is a partner at Cyrus D. Mehta & Partners PLLC, where he works on immigration and nationality law matters. His practice includes a variety of family-based and employment based applications for nonimmigrant visas, permanent residence, waivers, and asylum. He blogs extensively on a variety of immigration law topics, and has written about Mr. Hizam’s case.
