April 6: PILC Presents: Should You Do EIW If You Want To Work In Public Interest?

It can be difficult to decide whether to participate in EIW if you are planning, or considering, a public interest career. Join PILC for a discussion of the pros and cons of summering at a law firm if you are interested in public interest. In additional to general advice, we will discuss whether a law firm summer hurts or helps for a career in criminal defense, prosecution, government, international public interest, direct services, impact litigation and public interest law firms. We will also be joined by Cassandre Stump from OCS who will discuss some of the nitty gritty about EIW for public interest-oriented students, as well as by Tim Barnum from OSFS who will discuss how LRAP could be affected by working in the private sector.
