Monday, April 4, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Barclays, 745 Seventh Avenue (at West 49th St.)
1Ls are invited to participate in an exclusive visit to BARCLAYS where our host, Vishal Sheth, JD ‘05, a Director in the Financial Institutions Group/Investment Banking, will provide students with a bird’s eye view into his work as a banker. Students also will learn all about opportunities in Investment Banking for law students, beginning in the 2L summer. Vishal has spent time at BARCLAYS in London and has also worked as an attorney at both Skadden (Financial Institutions) and Weil Gotshal (Capital Markets). He will discuss the ways in which practicing law differs from banking. Participate in a brief tour and an interactive discussion. The opportunity to participate will be limited to 25 students and will be first-come, first served. Do not miss this event if you have an interest in I-Banking – or simply want to learn more about the opportunities for JD students. Wendy Siegel from the OCS will accompany the group.
RSVP to the event on CSM. Click the Events tab and then select Employer Events/Receptions. Please only RSVP if you have 100% intention of attending and plan to honor your commitment. Please arrive by 5:55 p.m. Once you RSVP, you will receive a response from OCS (either confirmed or waitlisted). You will need to show photo ID at security.
