Increasing Mindfulness, Reducing bias is an ingrained habit of thought that leads to errors in how we perceive, reason, remember, and make decisions. Understanding Unconscious Bias and Strategies to Reduce It is a half-day (three-hour) workshop that will train participants on the anatomy of unconscious bias, its causes, its manifestations in different areas of people’s personal and professional lives, and evidence-based strategies that reduce the impact of unconscious bias on decision-making. This training will demystify unconscious bias and provide participants with the leading findings of neuroscience, psychology, and anthropology to reduce and eventually eliminate the impact of unconscious bias.
