Description: The Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at American University Washington College of Law and the American Society of International Law’s Lieber Society seek submissions of papers for the Fourth Annual International Humanitarian Law Student Writing Competition. This competition aims to promote and enhance scholarship in international humanitarian law among students as well as deepen their understanding of this important area of international law.
Deadline: February 16, 2014 at 11:59 (EST).
Prize: The two winning authors will receive a one-year ASIL student membership and will have the opportunity to present their papers in discussion with a panel of expert professors and practitioners through an online virtual conference that will be broadcast through the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law’s webpage.
