It is time to register for the 20th Annual Public Service Auction! The event will take place on Thursday, February 27 from 6-10 p.m. in Vanderbilt Hall.

You can register and buy tickets here. Student tickets are $10 and include free food from local restaurants, three drink tickets, and the chance to bid on fabulous items! Some of these items include:
• A golf outing with Dean Morrison and Jonathan Mechanic ‘77 (partner and chairman of the real estate department at Fried Frank) at Bayonne Golf Club
• A poker night for 5 students with Professors Cynthia Estlund and Samuel Issacharoff
• The chance to bid on 20 certificates for $1750 off BarBri tuition
• Plus SNL tickets, restaurant gift certificates, spa gift certificates, theater tickets, sports memorabilia, and much, much more!
For more details about all the great items you can bid on, check out our Program! An addendum with even more items will be created prior to the auction date.

Beyond the bidding, the Auction will feature great food and entertainment. Substantial Performance and NYU Law’s own Champagne Friday will perform. Dean Morrison, Professor Estlund, and Professor Issacharoff will be our fabulous auctioneers, and Dean Morrison will continue the time-honored tradition of auctioning off a “mystery prize.” Dean Revesz used to auction off the chance to play him at wii tennis or direct him as he made an abstract painting in front of the crowd. Before him, Dean Sexton auctioned off the chance to throw a pie in his face! What do you think Dean Morrison’s mystery prize will be? We promise it will be very entertaining!!!

Be sure to register ahead of time, either online or at the tables that will be set up in Golding next week. Next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, students will be tabling in Golding from 9am – 5pm to help people register. 50/50 Raffle tickets will also be on sale at the Golding tables and at the auction. Raffle tickets are $10 each (cash only), and half the pot goes to the auction while the other half goes to the winner. So encourage your friends to buy raffle tickets too: the more people that buy them, the more money you can win!

Please contact co-chairs Joanna Laine ’15 and Ben Mejia ’15 at nyulawpilcauction@gmail.com if you have any questions. We thank the many of you who have worked hard to put this auction together, and encourage you to come see what you have accomplished. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Best,
PILC
