5:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Vanderbilt Hall, Greenberg Lounge
This week, the Leaders in the Public Interest Series will be a little bit different. For ten minutes our speaker, Lauren Burke (’09) will talk about making your own path in public interest, from questioning whether lawyers are really what clients need, to creating your own solution and founding a non profit. Then, we will open the floor to your anonymous questions in a Q and A format. Ask anything. From how to deal with people who pressure you to join a firm, to whether grades really matter, how to deal with a mission you don’t agree with and judge’s who seem inclined to rule against your client’s before you even start your case, nothing is off limits! Come join us in this highly interactive session!
