The scholarship is valued at $5,000 and will be awarded to one (1) student. The scholarship will be applied to the student’s tuition for the 2016-2017 academic year. The scholarship is open to all second-year (2L) students as of spring 2016 semester enrolled in a law school in the State of New York. The essay must display excellence in legal writing and advocacy skills and the topic must relate to the law.
