SEPTEMBER 16 6:30PM – 8:00PM – PAULSON AUDITORIUM, STERN SCHOOL OF BUSINESS, 40 WEST 4TH ST., UC50

The NYU community is invited to join a discussion on “Generational Theft: How Entitlement Spending is Stealing Opportunity from America’s Youth”, led by NYU trustee Ken Langone (Stern’60), educator Geoffrey Canada, and investor Stanley Druckenmiller. The conversation will be moderated by Bloomberg TV’s Stephanie Ruhle, and a reception will follow. Co-sponsored by NYU Stern.

Following a Wall Street Journal op-ed piece in which they wrote of their shared concern that “government spending levels are unsustainable,” Geoffrey Canada and Stanley Druckenmiller, though from different backgrounds and with different political beliefs, have united to bring their message to the wider public, appearing on national television and speaking at college campuses.

They warn that failing to reform an entitlement culture, reaffirm long-run objectives, and re-establish a common purpose will mean diminished opportunities for America’s youth.

Audience members will be invited to submit questions to the speakers.

RSVPs are required but do not guarantee a seat. Seating is limited and is offered on a first-come, first served basis.
