Subject: Kirkland & Ellis New York City Public Service Fellowship Applications Due January 21, 5pm
The Kirkland & Ellis New York City Public Service Fellowship is awarded annually to one NYU School of Law 3L to pursue public service employment for one year with a New York City-based sponsoring organization. Fellowships are intended to meet serious human needs in New York City. Fellows may create and fill a new position within an already-existing organization or pursue an independent project affiliated with a sponsoring organization.
Fellows are funded with an annual salary of $45,000. The Fellow’s sponsoring organization must provide the Fellow’s health insurance and the same benefits package that is offered to other lawyers or professionals at the organization with the same seniority or status as the Fellow.
Applications for the Fellowship are due Tuesday, January 21, 2014, by 5pm. Applicants must deliver hard copies of their applications to PILC in Furman Hall, room 430. Fellows are selected for their personal integrity and potential to make a positive contribution to the community.
